After your treatment your body and mind is relaxed.  To gain maximum benefit from your treatment it is recommended you read and follow the aftercare advice sheet.

  1. Drink plenty of water after your treatment. This helps with dehydration, lost fluids, reduces soreness, reduces fatigue and helps eliminate toxins from your body.

  2. Avoid alcohol, smoking, tea and caffeine at least 12hrs after treatment as they can have a dehydrating effect on the body.

Occasionally, you may experience something called a “Healing Crisis” after a treatment as the body starts to go through a self-healing process.  This is very normal and it is a positive sign that your body has responded to the treatment and that it is starting to balance itself. Eyelash Extensions

  • What are they?

They are designed to thicken and lengthen the client’s natural eyelashes and are stuck to clients eyelashes

  • How long do they last?

Approximately 2-4 weeks. Your eyelash cycle is 25-28 days, as yours grow and fall out so will your extensions. Your lifestyle and working conditions may also affect how long your eyelash extensions last.

  • What is the difference between party (clusters) and individual lashes?

The cluster lashes are ten hairs knotted together on one bulb resting on top of your lashes, whereas the individual lashes are singular hairs slid on to each of your individual natural lashes. I only do individual natural lashes.

  • Will they cause irritation?

The adhesive glue may cause a mild , temporary itching feeling, however no lasting irritation should occur.  Also in very few cases may cause: infections or disorder causing sensitivity of the eyes and surrounding skin, these include: inflammation, conjunctivitis , swelling, stye, tired watery eyes, eczema or psoriasis, undiagnosed lumps, cuts and abrasions, allergy to eye cosmetics. Clients with sensitive skin are more likely to experience a reaction the lash adhesive.

  • I've seen some eyelash extensions and they were very ‘fake’ looking. Will mine look like this?

No, I deal with natural looking lashes that are created to give a fuller, mascara look to the natural lash

  • Do i need to maintain them?

Yes, you will need infill’s if you want to continue having fresh full, complete eyelash extensions. You should have infill’s every 2-4 weeks or more often if you want or think you need it. It is suggested that if you are an eye rubber for any reason, then eyelash extensions may not suit you. If you use prescribed medicated eye drops or ointment this may coat the lashes and cause them to clump.

  • I had eyelash extensions a few days ago and some have fallen out already. Why?

The eyelash growth cycle and it is hard to determine which lash is ready to fall out naturally. Each day we can lose between 3-5 natural eyelashes, usually we don’t notice when they fall out. When eyelash extensions are applied, we are more aware when they shed as eyelash extensions are darker and thicker. If you sleep on your side, you face will squash against the pillow and may cause the eyelashes on that side to fall out quicker than the other side.

  • What about removal?

Lash removal should be undertaken by a qualified lash technician only. Please bear in mind there is a removal charge of £10 which includes a eye gel application.
